Chicken ginger (ayam masak halia)

500g chicken (cut into small pieces)
1 tsp blackpepper
1 spring onion chopped
1 tomato, wedges
3 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp corn flour (mixed together)

slice: 5 cm ginger, 3 shallots, 3 cloves garlic, 3 red chillies


1. heat oil and fry sliced ingredients till fragrant
2. put in the chicken and mix well. add in a little bit of water and cover. cook chicken till tender
3. add in the oyster sauce mixture, mix until thickened. add in blackpepper
4. add in tomato wedges and spring onion. mix well
5. serve with hot rice
