Prawn currry

originally from Kak Jun's blog (again! thanx Kak Jun)

2 tomatoes (cut into wedges)
1 tbsp oil
6 curry leaves
1 tbsp curry powder
1 cup coconut milk/fresh milk
lemon juice from half lemon
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper

3 garlics
3 shallots
3 candlenut
1 inch ginger
1 tbsp tumeric powder
2 red chillies
1 lemongrass
  • fry the blended ingredients, curry leaves and curry powder till fragrant

  • put in prawns

  • put in coconut milk/fresh milk and cook for 2 minutes

  • put in tomatoes, pineaplles, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper. boil for another 3-5 minutes. remove from heat

My review:

Lovely...! a combination of spicy and sweet....i used freshmilk so it's healthier...another way to treasure the taste of prawns...
