My mum's recipe:
Pounded ingredients:
Bird's eye chillis
Fresh tumeric
Leaves, finely chopped:
pucuk ubi
daun kadok
daun kunyit
pucuk paku
lemongrass
pucuk keledek
pucuk labu
petai
Others (the original recipe has 99 types of leaves)
Tempoyak
Coconut milk
Anchovies
salt
Method:
- heat pan. put in the pounded ingredients and coconut milk. let simmer
- add tempoyak
- add in all the leaves and anchovies
- let simmer
- remove from heat
- serve with hot rice
