Steam pomfret


this is a very easy dish..i love steam fish so much and i always topped them with lots of vegetables...a very healthy dish...


1 pomfret (or any fish)
tamarind juice
salt
blackpepper
fish sauce
soy sauce

sliced: garlic, shallots, ginger, chillies

tomatoes
celery sticks
cauliflower
carrots
cabbage
coriander leaves
  • heat steamer
  • put the cleaned fish in a dish/plate
  • put the sliced ingredients in the dish
  • add in tamarind juice
  • sprinkle soy sauce, fish sauce and salt according to your taste
  • put in the vegetables
  • sprinkle blackpepper
  • steam for 15-20 minutes
  • garnish with coriander leaves
