this is a very easy dish..i love steam fish so much and i always topped them with lots of vegetables...a very healthy dish...
1 pomfret (or any fish)
tamarind juice
tamarind juice
salt
blackpepper
fish sauce
soy sauce
sliced: garlic, shallots, ginger, chillies
tomatoes
celery sticks
cauliflower
carrots
cabbage
coriander leaves
- heat steamer
- put the cleaned fish in a dish/plate
- put the sliced ingredients in the dish
- add in tamarind juice
- sprinkle soy sauce, fish sauce and salt according to your taste
- put in the vegetables
- sprinkle blackpepper
- steam for 15-20 minutes
- garnish with coriander leaves
