crispy chocolate chips cookies


modified from chef wan's recipe


A:
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp nescafe
1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
1/2 tsp salt
* 1 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)


B:
1/2 sup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup oats
1 cup cornflakes
3/4 cup chocolate chips


sift A ingredients, set aside
in a bowl, beat shortening, sugar and egg until smooth
fold in flour mixture, mix well
add oats, cornflakes and chocolate chips. mix well
drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto baking pans, allowing room for spreading
bake in preheated oven 180 degrees for 15 minutes


My review:
a must for me almost every Raya....i love the crispiness of this cookies...you can add raisins or nuts as well...

Hi I was searching for Chef Wan's choc chip recipe. I stumbled upon your site. i'm wondering if you have his original recipe? i would like to give it a try for raya this year. thanks for sharing!

hi lyeanna, this is the original recipe..i just substitudes the chocolate chips instead of yellow raisisn in the original recipe...it is originally called cornflakes crisp..try it...!
