Got this recipe from Kak Rin’s fotopages….decided to try today, as my parents are going back to kampung, can bring the cake to give to my aunts there…tastes so soft and moist….just lovely….
1 cup margarine (I used butter)
1 ¾ cup sugar
3 eggs
2 ½ cup flour
6 tbsp cocoa powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ cup fresh milk
1 ½ tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Grease a 9” pan

Sift flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt
Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
Beat in eggs one at a time, stir in vanilla
Beat in flour alternately with milk
Pour into the greased pan
Bake for 45 min
