rich butter cake

easy butter cake from a recipe book belongs to my friend, Teh....very moist and rich and yummy too!!! Roll

250g butter, softened

1 cup castor sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cup self raising flour ] sifted

1/2 cup plain flour ]

3/4 cup milk

  • preheat oven 180 degrees. grease a 20cm baking pan and line with paper

  • beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy

  • add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition

  • add in vanilla, beat till combined

  • fold in sifted flour alternate with milk

  • bake for 1 hour or until done
