my mum's recipe...we simply love anything to do with tempoyak gravy....
yam cut into pieces
tempoyak (fermented durian)
bird's eye chilli ] pounded
asam keping (dried tamarind skin)
- blanch the yam for a while and strain. remove
- put other ingredients in a pot. let boil.
- add in the blanched yam.
- add in salt according to taste. let simmer
- remove and serve with hot rice
