tumeric fried squid with kaffir leave

another easy recipe that i made yesterday for dinner...

squid, cleaned and cut into pieces
1 tbs tumeric powder
salt to taste
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic, sliced
1 lemongrass, pounded
few kaffir leaves, teared into pieces
tomato, wedged

  • heat oil, add in onion, garlic, lemongrass and kaffir leave. fry till fragrant

  • add in squid, tumeric powder and salt, mix everything well

  • add in water (depends if you want more gravy, add more water)

  • add in tomato, let simmer

  • remove from heat
